Stockmarket Bonds - Please read the following

Between 2000 and 2006 we published our reviews of stockmarket linked bonds.

Our initial motivation stemmed from the fact that many of the income contracts launched in 2000 were, in our opinion investments that were suitable for no one. Yet these investments were being heavily promoted from a number of quarters and we therefore took steps to warn our clients and the wider public both via mailings, our website and through consultation with various Journalists.

Our concerns were subsequently justified in what became the “precipice bond scandal” and whilst the contracts launched since then have been on significantly more sensible terms, we continued to publish our analysis to highlight those that we felt offered good value up until the end of 2006.

In response to the rapidly expanding market, the Lehman Brothers and Keydata issues we will shortly be recommencing publication of our reviews. In the meantime you can access the archives here.
