About Melvyn

Melvyn started his career in financial services when he joined Lowes in 1983. He was initially a research assistant to the founder, Ken Lowes, and was subsequently promoted to Investment Manager. Melvyn is married with 2 children. He was born in Sunderland and now lives in Durham. His wife believes he is obsessed with football, others knowing that he follows Sunderland believe it may be more serious. His other interests include current affairs, painting, all types of music and gardening.
